Saltire Beat are a wedding, corporate and events band. Playing an exciting mix of traditional Scottish music and contemporary rock and pop classics such as 500 Miles, Shut Up and Dance and many more. We are traditionally a five piece band with Bagpipers, Guitarists and Drummers. We give our songs a unique twist and create exhilarating music that will energise your event. We are an authentically live performing band based in Glasgow, Scotland but have travelled many miles for our gigs in places around Scotland, the UK and Europe.
We’ve played a wide variety of gigs from weddings to corporate events and concerts, including festivals in Germany and Spain to over 1000 people.
Not your traditional wedding band. We are a great addition to your wedding and are frequently used as a surprise for your guests. We play for 30-45mins, to energise your night. We often work with your wedding band and play either when they take a break or just after your buffet is served. Our five piece band is guaranteed to offer your guests an unforgettable experience!
We can also cater for your corporate event. We have played many dinners, awards nights, business launches and event welcoming. We add the woah factor to your event with our fusion of traditional Scottish music and contemporary classics. We are also available to play gala days and participation events such as fun runs.
We have had the amazing experience of playing to over 1000 people at music festivals in Germany and Spain. For these events we will provide a much larger band utilizing visual effects with Scottish dancers.
